Please note that the freshwater infinity swimming pool at Pacific Resort Aitutaki will be undergoing some urgent repairs from 7.00am Thursday 28 – 10.00pm Sunday 31 January 2010.
During this four day period we are providing a range of options for you, as below -
Alternative Pools – The freshwater swimming pools at two nearby resorts Etu Moana and Tamanu Beach, will be available for guests to use. Pacific Resort will be providing complimentary transfers to and from both resorts, as well as covering the costs for any beverages consumed by Pacific Resort guest while using these other pools.
* Lagoon Cruises – as an alternative to swimming in the resort pool guests will be encouraged to enjoy the beautiful Aitutaki lagoon and we are offering guests complimentary lagoon cruises during this period.
There will be a selection of five cruises, each offering different options on the lagoon. All the lagoon cruises include lunch, and are a full day activity. Full details will be provided on arrival.
* Other Swimming Locations – Should guests wish to enjoy an alternative lagoon swimming option we
recommend Ootu Beach. During the pool closure period we are pleased to provide complimentary
transfers to and from Ootu Beach.
* Lagoon – to assist guests to enjoy swimming in the lagoon off the resort we will temporarily anchor a pontoon in the deeper part of the lagoon to allow guests to rest and enjoy the water.
We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause, however, these urgent repairs are essential for the ongoing safety and enjoyment of our guests. | |
